    Was pumped to try it after receiving some hype but unfortunately the dishes weren’t worth the digestive distress — I blame the spinach. Perhaps I should have gone earlier when the food would have been fresher. Think there’s better value/quality Indian nearby, e.g. Ayurveda.

    Loved the place and food. Very cheap and people are very friendly. I was looking for home cooked food and got it. Also they served a cup of tea with the platter that had 4 dishes and 1 paratha in 8 dollars. What else can you ask for!!

    Whatever I say about this place is less. Don't be fooled by the unassuming location and humble interiors. You will not be disappointed. The granny here is one of the friendliest people you can meet in Manhattan.

    This place has the best mixed pickle I've ever tasted. Ladle some up from the plastic tubs on the tables - it takes the food to the next level.

    Love this spot. Excellent place to get cheap and healthy vegetarian food. Try their chai and roti.
